Lead a volunteer board of 24 civic-minded executives, an extended
network of over 60 volunteers, and a staff of three. Directed a budget of $3 million and
addressed the needs of 29 communities, with a population of 800,000, by
funding over 45 health and human service agencies. Awarded United Way of
Metropolitan Chicago’s first Vision and Leadership Award (2006) for
efforts in developing regional organization and creating new process to
allocate surplus funds. Currently,
